Mobile Apps Development in India

Mobile apps have hijacked the core of digital marketing as this year ends. At the start of this year, there were predictions that mobile apps will be a rage and those guesses were right on the bull’s eye.

However, all is not right within the context of mobile app development. Being industry insiders, we have noticed some very unhealthy practices stepping into the game. These methods have not earned any kudos, either from the users or from the brands that use them.

In this post, we will take a cue from the mobile app developers of Complete Web Graphics or CWG and come up with some ingredients. These are necessary to get the right mobile app off your shelves. The right amount of these ingredients will probably the only way in which you can click on a highly competitive and congested mobile development market.

The first mistake that we can see through our surveys and market tapping is that most of the apps are not measured in the right format. Analytics are there to find out how the app is working for users, just like there is Google Analytics to study the use of websites.

Mobile apps can be tracked, too, and made better by the lessons learnt through this data. Unfortunately, very few apps actually have an analytics team tracking user behavior. Most usually stop at recording the number of visits or sales clinched.

The next area where our mobile app developers feel sad about is the marketing of these apps. The best mobile apps need aggressive marketing and promotion. Otherwise, they remain buried under so many other apps, many of them not really at par with the average.

Just as you would market the content of your website or a blog, you need to tell your existent and potential users about the presence of your mobile app. Make it easier for them to download and use it. Make it searchable on Google PlayStore and other banks for easy access to users of Android, iOS and Windows.

The bedrock of every mobile app should be user experience. Aesthetics come in second. This is the thumb rule of mobile app development and you should follow it like a holy book. You cannot have an app that looks beautiful but feels crappy to use! Instead, score high on usability and users might just forgive you some of the hideous colors and designs on the app!

Stay tuned on this blog for more insights on developing killer mobile app.
